    2021 Season

Second signing announced by Wexford is Evan Farrell from our U17 side. Evan previously played with Forth Celtic. Kieran Murphy from Ferns who has also come up through the Wexford FC ranks was our first signing. Good to see players moving from level to level within the club.

Evan Farrell makes step-up to senior side for 2021 (wexfordfc.ie)

Jack would be our record goalscorer only since 2017. But Danny Furlong would be way out in front with over 100 league goals the vast majority of which were scored with Wexford Youths/Wexford FC.

With thanks to the Drogheda commentary, 0-0 at half-time between the home side and Wexford. One decent effort apiece and two shouts for penos by Drogheda neither of which were given.

Final score: Drogheda 1, Wexford 0 with a late OG by Wexford making the difference. Wexford had three triallists on view.

Since everyone else has a cross-channel loan signing, Wexford have just announced the signing of Luke Turner on loan from Aberdeen (previously with Shamrock Rovers).

Also, Harry Groome signed from Shels. A tidy player by all accounts.

With thanks to Wexford FC's Twitter account, friendly result from tonight: Wexford 0, Galway 4. Unfortunately, the game was blown up right at the end due to an injury to an unnamed Galway player. Hopefully, he'll recover quickly.
