Its died out in a whimper. Poor choices at the vital time. Pity cos these lads were there for the taking.

They had nothing left with 15 minutes to go again. Composure earlier in the game and this was Bohs to take. Frustrating, ifs and buts as usual. Better team won over two legs, better team not match fit.

Ward will have nightmares about that last corner to go with the miss too. Need to hit it towards the keeper if he’s come up. Pointless otherwise.

He tried to pass it. I can't believe it. I love Wardy. I can't believe that.

Linfield 1-0 down in Luxembourg now; 3-1 on aggregate.

Winner plays Kairat of Kazakhstan for a place in the groups - reasonable chance gone for the IL's first ever group qualification, it looks like.

Overall PAOK deserved it. Bohs actually did well to keep it to 2 at times. PAOK showed their class in attack. That said, Bohs had 3/4 proper chances and could have grabbed 1 on another day. For a giant killing to happen you need to take your chances when they arrive and Bohs just didn't take theirs, simple as that really.
Given the difference in budgets etc Bohs did well to keep it so close overall. They can be very proud of their run this year.

Btw, Burt is such an enigma. He gives the ball away a lot but he's the one guy who has the explosiveness to actually burst past a few and make someone happen.

I don't think Ward was trying to pass it back across the box.

Looked to me like the keeper got a small nick on it which just ever so slightly changed the flight of the ball, which is what made him fluff it so badly.

Still think he'll be having nightmares about it but it was one of the harder chances which will fall under the 'open goal' category.

Open goal is a tad harsh on Ward, it was a glorious chance though he just couldn't sort his feet

It wasn't all that bad to be honest. A great chance no doubt but the keeper got a touch and it changed direction.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

2-0 Rovers now, so they're all but through to play Flora Tallinn for a place in the groups.

Dundalk doing fine too. 2 greats saves by Vitesse in quick succession. Make that 3, bloody hell. What a spell for Dundalk.

Ah come Paul there was a ridiculous deflection there that screwed everyone. And the keeper still managed to get a hand on it. Defenders didn't do a whole lot wrong really.

2-0 now. That's the end of that, you reckon.

TNS gone to penalties in Plzen. Linfield lost 2-1 in Luxembourg; 4-2 on aggregate.
