Bohs tickets on general sale now , picked up two. It’s €20 plus fees so €45.90 total.
Company that run the ground on behalf of IRFU and FAI might.
I've been following the results in Iceland since the draw. Starman seem to have recovered from a poor start and are now one of the form teams in the league, FH on the other hand haven't won in ages.
I think both sides are away in Iceland first and if they can come back with a draw or at least an away goal I'd fancy them to finish the job at home.
Even twenty quid was pricey before adding on the fee I thought.
(Though I see it's just sold out, so I guess people must really be missing live football)
That's really good news that it's sold out so soon after tickets being available. Hopefully this (hopefully brief) little window where demand will exceed supply can be used by clubs to generate more interest than usual.
I know it's just a pilot for bigger events in the Aviva but I think it reflects well on Bohs and by extension the league how fast the uptake on tickets was.
Given how ad hoc updates to sporting capacities have been changing I wonder is there any chance they'd release another 1000 tickets or so?
Was going to speculate on what the arrangements could be in Bohs made it to the second round but I think I'll park that conversation ountil it's relevant
Didn’t mind €20 tbh the ticketmaster fee has always been a pain in the neck and just keeps increasing. I’m delighted to be able to watch a game in the Aviva again. It’s a sign of the weird times we have lived through that the idea of going there now seems a complete novelty.
If there werent issues with the whole pandemic stuff would Bohs have looked to use the Aviva? 6k is a lot more than they could have had at home games even without restrictions. Hopefully the FAI have been generous in their rental costs so Bohs quids up!
Big Bill Hulsizer wanted all of our games played in the Aviva.
Fair play to Bohs for filling the 6000 seats, and so fast as well.
Doesnt really answer the question, makes sense to allow more to get to the game so if covid hadnt been an issue could Bohs opted for an option that allowed a bit over 2k (members) get to the game. Hardly have gone to Tallaght, but with progression and Dalymount limits kicking in how would members have chosen - pricey Aviva or practical Tallaght? Genuinely interested, not a dose of hypothetical stirring.
Games a sellout. I had tickets in my grasp but cos of the timer and cos I have never being a user of ticketmaster online time ran out of me. This was around 1530. If you hear of any tickets for sale if people cant make it let me know please as I had plans made to attend it as two close pals of mine are bohs fans.
