That's fantastic. It's been hard to get a sense of his level after last season seemingly not pushing on from the few appearances the season before

Feels like this lad has been on the "potentially Irish" scene for a couple of years now and I still have no idea either whether he's any good or whether he actually genuinely wants to play for Ireland.

Heck, I only just removed the question mark from his year of birth in the thread title. He's a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped.

He does, however, have a couple of U19s caps for us he earned last year, which seems to go some way towards answering that last bit.

Didn't make it off the bench, but it's good to see him involved in the first team already this season.
Strangely enough, Getafe are playing on Monday again in the next round of fixtures

Finn was involved a bit in Getafe's preseason, including a start against Granada, but not in the squad for their season opener against Barcelona tonight. He's still 19, and they are the defending champions, so probably fair enough.

It's impressive that gilsenan and finn have actually progressed this far in the game. When those stories were out 10 years ago of an Irish child at barca and another at real it seemed a real long shot we would ever see either play professionally

Named in Getafe's travelling squad for tonight's game against Athletic Bilbao. Given there's 23 in the squad, and they named 12 substitutes at the weekend against Sociedad, it's highly likely that he makes the bench later
