This is lichtenstein vs andorra stuff, it's that bad. In the past there was a tendency to look down our nose at those kinds of teams - us and Bulgaria are in that bracket now.
People may say it overlooks the players missing for both sides but who can honestly say mcclean, hendrick, mccarthy and others would do any better.

Collins leads the line well. Our pressing is more evident which is a good thing.

Duffy and Knight have played two worse balls in the first 25mins than Jack Byrne did in injury time against Wales. Knight really looks out of his depth so far. Hope he can settle.

Brady has been anonymous so far. He is so inconsistent. Good against Wales and now he is hiding vs Bulgaria.

The cynical fouling is ruining the game, for us anyway.

Me. They're better players. If they weren't, Knight and the rest would have been ****-hot property last summer.

Period of play here of knocking it about nicely at the back. It's been back to Randolph a couple of times. But it's never looked like going anywhere.

Me too. And I saw a weakened UCD lose a friendly to Portsmouth by a double digit score once.

Really tough to judge Stephen Kenny when he basically has three senior players in the starting line-up tonight: Randolph, Duffy, and Brady. You could make an argument for Dara O'Shea but the rest of these guys are no-hopers.

It's agony to watch. Two teams barely able to string two passes together.

We are utterly lacking confidence or a clear plan.
