Waterford announced four loans this week.
Cameron Evans (Swansea- Season loan recall option in the summer)
Adam O’Reilly (Preston loan till the summer)
James Waite (Cardiff loan till the summer)
Jamie Macoll (Bolton loan till the summer)
There’s also a rumour Barry Ferguson’s son Kyle will sign for the club.
Ah that makes a lot more sense.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
If he's half as good as the lad we had from the Swedish fourth tier last season, Waterford will be delighted.
I think he made two sub appearances and was the worst player I think I've ever seen at this level. He was great in Sweden though...

And that's exactly how he will be referred to I reckon, also I'd say Nattestad will be Sonni, although not quite 'as hard' to pronounce.
Seems the feedback is Ogedi-Uzokwe was rated by Derry fans, where he finished LOI top scored in 2019, but not by Sligo last year.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Worth nothing that Junior only finished top scorer as a result of a hat-trick on the last day of the season against Harps reserves..
I know he was rated highly by Derry fans, but just never seen it myself. Surprised to see Dundalk signing him.
Presume the deal for the Korean lad hit work-permit issues and won't be happening?

Bit of a bizarre signing really - a journeyman with one decent and one poor season in the LOI. Seeing as they have released Colovic and Oduwa and Junior is the only wide player they have signed you would think they will be playing with 3 at the back more often. Then again they only have 4 centre halves at the club, one of whom is Gartland who has visibly declined, and another who is a complete unknown quantity. I'm like a broken record at this stage but if I were a Dundalk fan I would be seriously unimpressed with the recruitment again. More than willing to eat my words if most of these wild punts turn out to be masterstrokes.
Is it me or are there more players coming in on loan from England than in previous windows? I see Pats just announced another one.

There were plenty on loan from England and Scotland last year too, in fairness. I think we're just paying closer attention to it this year because of Brexit.

Maybe I'm just paying more attention to the premier division teams this year.

National Leagues North and South being cancelled probably means more players available as well.
Richie Towell signing for Rovers in the summer, could be a huge addition that.....
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Nahum melvin-lambert in from reading on loan. He is an 18 year old striker and signed a new pro contract before the loan move. He made is first team debut this season. He looks an exciting young player.
