Tierney off to Scotland. I doubt that Motherwell are much better than Bohs, but at least he'll be playing in better stadiums with nicer dressing rooms.

Good lad, always like to see the Derry bloodline do well.

The Motherwell sitting 6th in the SPL and the Bohs sitting 5th in the LoI?

He's a dub, his father is a Derry man. His uncle is well known around the city and a volunteer at the Brandywell on match nights.

Bohs and Waterford lost 3-2 away to Airdrie and Stenhousemuir the last time the LoI was in the Scottish Challenge Cup. Sligo lost 2-0 to Motherwell's U21s the previous season.

But yeah, Bohs and Motherwell are clearly comparable standard.

Some Bohs fans seem to genuinely believe they are not only the best team in our league, but also as good as teams in better leagues now. This despite them being far closer to relegation than the top of the pile here. Alan Cawley has a lot to answer for.

The media love them 4 POTM in a row from the league scribblers and Cawley waxing lyrical about them every week.
Its kind of funny when you consider they are 5 points above the relegation play off place and 26 points and counting behind Rovers.

On this point its been an odd season that with a handful of matches to go theres only 9pts from 3rd to 9th, and very possible that the play-off side will break the old magic number of 40pts and still in trouble o maybe sounds a bit worse than would be usual other seasons. Realistically though, with games to come between those who are not yet fully safe, GD, game(s) in hand, (on paper) the easier run in etc. Derry, Bohs and Drogs are fine. Who knows with Dundalk but with Waterfords GD, Dundalk looking like a bit easier of a run in eg Longford at home, Waterford should have to win but definitely a must not lose tomorrow. Rovers will want to win the title in style at home and beat harps, if battle hardened Harps manage turnover over Rovers they go on to Waterford really wanting to be able to lord it at Dalymount, and rub it in if Bohs are still looking over the shoulder. There is little more ye can do but hope that Dundalk dont capitulate which is very possible, it will really show the positive character of players, real professional pride if they keep up the good fight!!

*ugh sorry wrong thread for above soooo the potential for for fireworks last day v Derry in Oriel. Hero to zero if say Dundalk end up in the play-off on that result and Derry bound players have a stinker or one of those players picks up an injury. Bit of a conflict of interest but again hopefully they would play with pride, Derry bound or any other plays that's on the move and dont fancy risking it. Out of interest, anyone know would a pre-contract agreement bind a new club to paying a player if they were injured before they're out of contract and transfer is completed/player registered? We've seen players change minds on a move after signing pre-contracts and seeming to matter little.
