I'd say there's as much chance of Jack Byrne coming back to LOI as there is of Georgie Kelly playing for bohs next season
I enjoy looking down my nose at the SPL as much as anyone but about half a mil a year, playing in one of the biggest stadiums in Europe, nailed on international call ups, only an hours flight from mammy and daddy, stepping stone to the holy grail of L1 in England - yeah huge step down on Cyprus considering how that has gone injuries or not.
Mickey Duffy away then. Four years is some going. I still think he's too good for the league, but obviously happy that he's coming back to ourselves!

Not unexpected all things considering. I suppose its a bit par for the course as we pinched Derry's top talent over the years.
If Perth has anything about him he'll punish Duffy by dropping him for the Cup semi final. Can't have turncoats in the starting 11
Here on a technicality.
No surprise with that really. It’s just so frustrating that all our best talent is leaving the club because of owners who have no idea what they are doing.
P6 actively looking to get out of DFC, so they won't be giving out any longer contracts than 1 year, or ones with a extension option for one year after. Unless a new owner comes in, and that could take months, or even into 2022 who knows, things won't be changing anytime soon.
All things considered, as much as its hugely disappointing, wouldn't blame Duffy one bit, 4 year deal is good for him. Patching will prob be next.
P6 done a good job here, turning defending champions entering 2020 into currently 8th spot, and almost all the better players free to go if they wish.
Another job for Maxi maybe, travel over there to have a chat with Bill.............. 'Yiz are a faaaaaarce'
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
What difference does it make to P6 themselves if the players are contracted to Dundalk? Obviously you'd hope they'd prefer not to ruin the club on their way out but a squad that should qualify for Europe should be more attractive to a potential purchaser if anything?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
I wouldnt begrudge any Derry Lad heading home tbh, they are very much home birds up there and winning the league playing for your home town club would be huge for them.
Marc Bircham announced on Twitter that Romario “Ronaldo” Green signed for Waterford from the Bahamas. Think Bircham coached him over there prior to taking the Waterford job

Jesus. Romario and Ronaldo in one player. He's bound to be some player.

But can he do it on a cold, wet Friday in Waterford?
You can't spell failure without FAI
