It's like a civil war now when you're four games in without a win, but it certainly wasn't during the off-season! There were a couple of dissenters, but the vast majority seemed happy with the recruitment and optimistic for the season ahead, when from the outside the whole thing looked like a car crash in progress. I seem to recall you saying that you were 'hoping' the random keeper who washed out of Serie C level and has done absolutely nothing as a senior footballer was going to be 'the standard of the Slovan Bratislava keeper.' That is what I call extreme optimism.

And no I haven't missed any of the comedy show that is Buffalo Bill's reign, but once again I'm somewhat puzzled by Dundalk fans passive reactions to him turning your club into a circus act.

I hope every signing is World class, that does not mean I think it is or will be the case. But do feel free to continue to be selective in 'quoting' me. I also contest your assessment of Orielweb from preseason - it has never been a forum without significant differing consensus and 'scanning' it in more detail will show a mix of opinions from the ultimate doubter to the blindly optimistic.

What do you suggest Dundalk fans do over Bill? Write a strongly worded letter, stamp our feet in tantrum, we cant even enter Oriel Park currently. Im sure you were rising up in action when Rovers were being bankrupted and relegated by a former Chairman and Board or Louis Kilkoyne listened intently to Rovers fans disapproval on the sale of Milltown. Wanting and getting do not always happen Sonny!

I'm "hoping" we win 6 nil tonight in Sligo, it doesn't mean i really think we will its just hope.

I'm a lurker on Oriel web and the panic is a bit over done.
Even if Rovers win the two games in hand (big ask) DFC would be a maximum of 9 points behind with 32 games to play.
ITs obvious there is quality in the DFC squad but it takes time for new players to gel together.
If they had beaten bohs last night which they could have done without the liability that is Cleary the response would have been totally different.

Stephen Henderson (ex Cobh Manager) just left the Shelbourne job where he was looking after their Academy.
He is well regarded as a coach, Dundalk Manager incoming ??

I think he would be a great shout for the job. Did any of his brothers play for Dundalk before I wonder?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

There's only one man for the job. A strong personality but a man of the people, salt of the earth. Never been relegated.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Can he sign with another club now as a free agent or have to wait until July? Could be a solution for one of Dundalks problems.

    Cant sign anywhere until July.
Super keeper DFC would be mad not to sign him up now and have him in training to get used to the team, on the other hand that would be to admit Abibi isnt the solution.

Rumour mill has Shane Keegan walking away from DFC last night, JAmes Rogers says so anyway and he is prety close to things up there

“ I have not left Waterford FC nor do I intend to leave our club”

A quote from a brief statement issued by Brian Murphy this evening. Murphy also went on to essentially say he’d a disagreement with management which resulted in him being dropped.

Former Sligo Rovers and other LOI clubs Striker Danny North is the new assistant manager of Lincolnshire non league side Barton Town.
A very up and coming club in non league circles id say

Genuinely curious why you say that. Joke, or some knowldge of them? They're ninth tier - the only team I recognise from the league is Goole AFC which I think is a phoenix club for Goole Town who Tony Galvin played for.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Has he recovered from his ongoing hamstring problems?

Good signing , it’s safe to assume he is the final piece in the jigsaw to secure another title. The race for Europe looks set to be the more competitive one this season.

Even if he has work to do to get and stay fit he will be a big asset for Rovers whenever. Tbh I dont think he is needed so badly as to rush him in to the side as Rovers will keep pulling away from the pack and win the league comfortably as it is. He could be tip things in Rovers favour agasint sterner tests in Europe though.

He was back playing for them he got sent off with a couple of games to go so that was him done.
Should be rested enough but i guess will need a break before joining up with Rovers
