Some random Italian born Albanian goalkeeper signed by Dundalk.
Spent most of his career so far in Serie C or D in Italy, or in the Albanian league.
Dundalk to sign a heap of foreign lads. Two internationals rumored from the Faroes and Latvia, and a young Italian winger as well. Flores on the way out, there was a rumour of him to St. Pats, but maybe he is lookng for a bit more cash.
Is Lee Desmond still not signed up? Could be a great signing by someone.

Buffalo Bill has ordered Filippo to sign the tallest ****ers he can find in an attempt to emulate the Harlem Globetrotters on a budget
We seem to be in no real rush until there's some clarity on the league starting, funding etc. It's sensible on one hand but on the other you'd worry that there won't be much out there in the way of replacing the amount of players that have left by the time that happens.
He could be alan manus the second or he could be Tomar chencheski. Nobody lnows more than rovers supporters how big a position this is.
Speaking of which, the best keeper in the league by a country mile, along with Joey OBrien, have renewed their contracts for another year with the Champions.
We may have the lost the best player in the league since joey ndo, but the other clubs will need to do well to finish ahead of Rovers next season, particularly if Joey and Alan Mannus are fit and available next season.
Rovers just announced entire squad re signed for next year exluding those already announced as leaving.
It certainly will be, one of the local papers has an interview with Magilton, he confirms he is moving to live in Dundalk, and they have up to 7 more players they 'hope to tie down'. One already in as the new GK, I`m assuming another is Gartland, so still leaves up to 5 more, one will have to be another GK, but Colovic is moving on though, P6 seem to be going big on the spending.

Here is that story. https://www.jamesrogers.ie/dundalk-v...r-next-season/
Is David Parkhouse any relation to ex Derry City player Stephen Parkhouse and who was he with before Hartlepool and Sheff Utd? Didnt he play in the Irish league?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
McCarthy's sacking by Apoel must put Byrne in a very uncomfortable and difficult position. Wouldn't particularly like to be in his shoes at the moment. Must feel like a complete fish out of water.
Very disappointing for Byrne. McCarthy's sacking makes it very difficult for him, will he even get a decent chance? Odds are high on him moving on.
Byrne knew the risks and his agent would likely told him Mick wouldn't be there too long. How many managers have they had in 5 years? Wouldn't have taken a rocket scientist to work out he'd be there without Mccarthy for most of the period. Mick probably got a nice payoff and a holiday. Byrnes sitting in a nice wage and he' ll have another two mangers by this time next year. Chairman was happy to sign him and he'll be telling the next manager to play him.
Byrne would have hoped McCarthy would have been there for another couple of months at least though, to help him settle in a bit better.
They go and hire a Cypriot manager now, and he has to fast track learning the language, no familiar faces around, and is a long way from home. Becomes a lot more difficult all of a sudden

McCarthy hasnt had much luck in the last few jobs especially at Ipswich and with the delay to Euro2020 and not getting the chance to make the finals with both covid and the other virus Delaney running amok. It has to be a difficult one for Byrne, he took a punt o going to Cyprus undoubtedly thinking that McCarthy will help the settling in process on and off the pitch. He's already known for feeling homesick so it was a risk and that safety net is now gone. Hopefully he will suck it up and prove that he has matured and show his worth on the pitch - if he gets the head down and focuses on football and not get a does of the yips instead he will be grand!
