I'd say Longford would lose out completely. Teams have broken up, out of contract, not training, so you couldn't hold a playoff. Shels and Harps would stay up, Longford down, Waterford would get fourth place and Sligo miss out. I think Pats would get the points from their game against Bohs too. An almighty mess. For the sake of the league and the future of Irish football, I hope "we" lose it.

It's mortifying. An absolute disgrace. Very much in line with how the club has been run the last couple of years. I'm just hoping there'll be a club worth salvaging at the end of the current regime.

The only question as I see it is did the disciplinary committee have the power to move the effective date of the suspensions? I'm not privy to their terms of reference but I'd be astonished if they don't have that power. Otherwise it was the same for all teams with suspensions and they were all notified in advance.

I hope your right Longfordian and its actually in the rule-book as opposed to they just decided to do it at the same time as they rescheduled the matches assuming they could.

There’s nothing positive about the club at the moment!

    Appeal Dismissed.

Hope this doesn’t mean more uncertainty for the Blues.

    Thank God for that!
Hope that doesn't spell problems for Waterford but the alternative was a nightmare

I look forward to ‘welcoming’ Waterford to Finn Park next season.
