Well to be fair to Waterford they have never been found to have their paperwork in a pickle
Much bitching from Harps and Pats fans on Twitter. Greatest league in the World.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Shane McEleney the player against whom the allegations stand, in that he was suspended but all dates were moved because of league extension but methinks once again Waterford failed to read the small print. Get Specsavers as yer sponsors next season!
And here we were thinking that it was John Delaney's connection to Waterford that pushed them in to looking for legal technicalities to overturn results or just ignore rules that didnt suit.
Shels have followed suit apparently and lodged a complaint....
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
The new FAI board members are probably already in wtf have we taken on mode, and thats after staving of bankruptcy of the association!
*What would have been the reason for pushing back the suspension? How it looks, ramifications of legal proceeding etc all aside, if a player is suspended it's punshing the player/club; without appeals to hold up the process its just sensible that the suspension is served for the next game in that competition if possible, or cup games/play-offs if the league schedule is finished. Maybe I am missing the obvious but whether the last round of games were played on a Sunday or delayed 24hrs, what's the thinking behind changing the suspension? Its grasping at straws by Waterford and they have form, but the player should have just serve the mandatory one game suspension during the next available game. Did the FAI over administrate something in LoI?? While 'legal team' is mentioned its 'registering a complaint' and so far not looking to change the result - testing the waters?

It gets boring!
The fai moved the date for suspensions so i cant see waterford winning this appeal.
Harps were followinv the rules
I can't see how they'll succeed but not all that surprising. I can't imagine our committee will be too happy at the season being extended if this isn’t decided tomorrow.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Just imagine the chaos this week would have been if Ollie Byrne was still here with his rulebook
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Donald Trump wouldn't have a look in with Waterford, petty vexatious BS.
There should be no case to answer, but nothing would surprise me with the FAI. A decision would need to be made tomorrow though with the Playoff on Sunday

Not for one minute did I think there was anything in this, but at same time I didn't hear it was formally dismissed?
Maybe it didn't even get as far as a public response, given it was such a long shot? The playing of the play off game was probably the answer it was dead in the water.

Would have thought Shels would have had more of a chance, if they objected 2021 licences of the clubs who didn't pay their players during the lockdown.
That appeal was heard today. Don't think there's a ruling on it yet.
Today!!. Flipping hell, could u imagine if it was held up....what happens next? Waterford take sligos place in europe and what...longford play harps for a place in the premier division......
