Which is mental.
We've no idea the lineup of the league, or fixtures, about 5 or 6 weeks out from proposed start date.

The FAI is probably operating on the basis of the start being delayed, they just don't feel the need to admit that to anyone on the 2% chance it doesn't have to.
Wonder wots Treaty Utds chances of getting back in I wonder? For Limerick as a sporting city it will be tragic if they cant come back in at all.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Better than Limerick FC's chances I'd wager.
Treaty's chairman is Conn Murray a former CEO of the council, with a bunch of people previously involved at different levels of coaching at Limerick FC. Limerick FC is indeed still POS, though he hasn't made a public utterance in some time.

Omens are not good for a senior mens team in Limerick next year.
Treaty board afraid of pauds legal team
Very little comfort from the fai as they are also afraid as they have no monies
The slew of ex Limerick coaches they have now seems to consist entirely of the guy who took the women's job last week after all the women's set up quit suddenly (in fairness by all accounts he's a very good guy)
But it's almost like some of the people who went over to treaty had their own interests in mind rather than Limerick football!!
Complete social media silence from Treaty bar advertisements for players and managment for women's set up.
Two noticable things about those ads:
1. One of the terms for the senior manager stated they must source their own physio
2. On the application form to trial to be a SENIOR women's player there was a box to be ticked acknowledging that you may be required to pay a registration fee and source a players sponsor for yourself.
Not ideal
Some legitimate concerns about Treaty there. Certainly aren't overflowing with cash. I won't be in any way supporting a POS-owned/controlled Limerick side though.

POS has absolutely zero interest in entering a senior team this year.
Underage teams on an absolute shoestring to keep the entity ticking over so he's still entitled to any monies which may be dues to Limerick FC??
Well, that's a different story
This new entity of senior football who hope to represent Limerick[ and one would think they will get a licience] will hardly inspire confidence they can survive.Too many past connections to the old setup ,from board members to potential coachs including the previous manager ,while the much vaunted Conn Murray might be held in high esteem by some [and no doubt has access to possible sponsor deals etc] this is the same man who managed to destroy the city during his tenure as city manager.Their premature start months back didnt bode well ,the name change and colours are also not things associated with the identity of senior football albeit this particular group are at least trying. .it will start in a blaze of glory, after that who knows.
This all reminds me of a decade ago when Galway Utd were out of loi for a few seasons and Mervue & Salthill ruled the roost! Also the fiasco in mid 80s when Cork didnt have a senior loi side. I think ye are dead right that there wont be a loi side in Limerick this coming year too many hidden agendas!

Tommy Barrett appointed Senior Manager at Treaty Utd...
