Also, I feel really bad, as I'd have voted for 06-08 over the 85-86 which would have tied the tie I think. Oops.

Cool. I'll gather them together and probably run it in March, to coincide with the World Cup triple-header games.

Close call, I'm not fully convinced about the sweet wrapper sashing on the 16 jersey, but the Brady jersey is showing it's age a bit with the sloppy fit. I think I'll just about go for 2016.

I like the 2016 kit. The colours on the 88 kit look a bit Kerry GAA to me.

7-5 the result there in favour of the Brady kit. That was a lot closer than I thought it would be to be honest.

The last quarter-final is up now. I'll leave these run till tomorrow, then the semis will be Thurs/Fri, and Mon/Tues will be the 3rd/4th place play-off and the final.

First up, Steve Finnan sports the 2000/01 WC qualifying kit. It lost in the first round to the Euro 88 kit (10-3), but was reprieved and then beat the USA 94 kit on a tie-break after a 4-4 draw.

And against it, a kit which made getting to the quarters without winning a single match so fashionable in the first place - it's the Italia 90 kit (also used in qualifying for Euro 92). It whitewashed the 2017-18 kit 12-0 in the first round and thumped the 2001-03 kit 7-3 in the second round to make it here.

If the orange on the Euro2016 kit wasn't of the dayglo variety it was in with a shout. That being said, I'm not a fan of the yellowy orange that we had in the early days either.

This is a case of the least worst winning out cos we all know how much appearing to be from Kerry doesn't agree with me.

I have to plump for the Italia 90 kit. It's just bloody perfect in every goddamn way for a soccer shirt. No contest for me.

Another really tight result there, but the 2016 kit scrapes through 5-4 with the last vote of the tie. Not all that impressed with the anti-Kerry bias on here, but as an impartial vote-counter in this, all I can do is give ye lot the frowning of a lifetime...

The Italia 90 jersey's winning margin will be confirmed later on today, and then the semis will get underway tomorrow!

You're not one of 'em via jus sanguinis like Kingdom's poor chizzlers, are ya?

I always knew John83 was my favourite of UCD's fans.
