I'd be a similar vintage (shall we say!) - Euro 88 is the earliest games I remember. But even still, that kit never did it for me. I think it's because the Italia 90 kit was so unique (and Euro 88 was very similar), and then we came along just copying Liverpool's effort (and, as tets noted, a few others too)
But everyone to their own in this thread of course!
So the 94-95 kit is dumped out (again). 7-2 the score in favour of 86-87.
While the old v new battle continues, two more to add to the mix. Is it to be the Euro 2016 kit or the 2010-12 kit to reach the quarters?
I'll start the bidding by pointing to the hoops and lack of orange trim on the 2010-12 kit. So 2016 an easy winner for me here.
10-12 for me.
I'll go 2016 too, not mad about it but there's something about the 10-12 kit that just doesn't sit right with me.

2016 for me. I like the jersey a lot, but those socks have finally cost it my vote!

2016, lovely kit
2016. Great kit.
Followed closely by the 2010 kit.
Love them both!
Folding my way into the big money!!!
I don't get the ire for hooped socks.
I'm judging all of these on the shirt first and foremost.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
I vote our current kit, and 2010/12.
euro 2016 kit for me.
thought the 2016 away kit was very good also
Very quiet round there! 4-2 the final score in favour of the 1978-83 kit.
The final two round-of-16 ties will be going live today, with a finals kit in each match. First up is the Euro 88 kit (used in qualifying for Italia 90 as well), and it takes on the oldest kit in the tournament from 76-78.
Euro 88.
Euro 88 for me as well.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Has to be 88, looks like this one will be a whitewash.
Tallaght Stadium Regular
88 too
Havin a weekend away is quite frankly, lettin ur team mates down!
6-3 there in favour of the Euro 2016 kit, and it's safely through to the last 8.
Euro 88 is all but through too, but sure we'll leave it open for the chance of a late rally, a bit like playing out the last 15 minutes of the recent Ireland-England game.
The final tie of this round is another finals kit against the second of our reprieved kits. It's the 1994 jersey against the kit which got us to the 2002 World Cup.
