everton have agreed fees for davies from spurs 3.5 mill and parker from chelsea 6 mill , also expected this week are bids for robbie keane and bellamy and sean davis fulham who has expressed an interest in moving to goodison. everton are hoping to tie up artetta's contract 2.8 mill to be ready for pre season training .

a new left back and a central defender are now needed as stubbs and pistone are leaving .

Is Sean Davis not with Spurs now - he's played a few games at the end of the season there after a long lay off??

Fair play to Moyes if he manages to sign all those - Simon Davies and Parker will be excellent players for the Toffees.

i think he might be actually now you mention it , he has been out for so long now he would be a big risk .

you did indeed , i just dont have a clue how to reply to the pm's

the davies and parker bids are official now .6 mill for parker is a bit steep but he is going to have to take a massive pay cut same as beattie did .

5 mill for bellamy could be worth it , i dont think he is a trouble maker souness could get in an arguement in a empty room .

big dunc has been offered 6 grand a week , some drop down from 35 k but still i think he will take it or rather than retire coz he wont play for anyone else .

Davis has played quite a few games for Spurs this season, didn't really impress at all. Simon Davies is a risk as he's so injury prone. Parker would be a decent signing, but Arteta is better. Everton need strikers the most though.

there are rumours around liverpool that we are going to rob baros in the close season as he wants champ league football

I hope for Evertons sake, they are just rumours, if everton want to progress, their going about it the wrong way in my opinion chasing Baros, the guy just doesn't cut the mustard

baros is one of the best strikers around now , did you not see the euro's , he just does nt want to be at liverpool any more and has no interest in playing in the uefa cup .

there are nt that many striker available , bellamy has been playing in scotland so it will take him 3 months to get back to a premeirship level , we need strikers ready for the qualifing rounds

I suppose Baros would have a season at Everton and then he would leave as he doesn't like the UEFA Cup
Can you seriously see Everton having another season like the one just gone by.I can't,and think they'll finish mid table, they just haven't got the quality to sustain it over a couple of seasons, even if they buy 2/3 players.I expect it will be somebody else's turn next season to be up there looking for the champions league spot,I can see Aston Villa pushing next season,if O'Leary spends the money correctly that they are supposed to be getting.

Fair enough, you need strikers for Europe and i'd like to see everton make a decent showing of themselves, but i don't think Baros is the answer, a striker scores goals, how can you say he's one of the best strikers when his goals to games ratio is dreadful and he has had his chances to make something of it, due to various injuries at liverpool, Everton should go for a more proven striker. there will be plenty coming a begging with prospects of playing in the champions league.

we did buy a proven goal scorer in beattie and he has nt done it , we need some one that can run at defenders and use his pace to get in behind them just like baros does

I'll give Baros credit for that but don't expect him to do the business in putting the ball into the net.

I've faith in Moyes, he's a great manager and i'm sure he'll make the correct choices.

It is a pity about Beattie though, I thought he would of done well at Everton, then again perhaps the prospects of Europe will boost his credibility !

most of the problem with beattie was fitness , he was allways lacking match fitness for everton , plus he played up front on his own and he isnt tricky or fast enough to play on his own bent is though , but put some one like baros bellamy or even robbie keane up there with him and they will work really well together ,

we do need 2 new strikers + 2 defenders and a keeper ( thats if the 2 midfeilders davies +parker join this week )

maybe not all 7 players have been offered contracts and all though its not as much as ossy wants i think he will stay to give europe a go rather than go to pompy .

Serves him right. Why he left Charlton originally i'll never fathom. At least he made a buck or two, i guess. Not many other positives from his "stay" at CFC.
