That may well be that for him at Roma. There were already reports before the game that they were looking to send him back to Brighton at the earliest opportunity, he really needed a goal last night which might have seen things start to turn around for him there. Instead he got injured right at the start of the game.
Interesting that he was starting last night after the comments from manager. Disaster that he got injured almost immediately. Wonder if same ankle. Hes as likely to get game time at Roma as anywhere else at moment so hopefully back soon.
Hes been carrying this ankle all season, and yet the manager is still trying to get him into team. It does seem that he may have to take some time off to get it fixed properly though.

The problem is that it is the same ankle that caused problems at Brighton - and Brighton did not manage the injury properly. A loan club is not going to give him the time to heal properly and his contract with Brighton runs to 2029 so he is badly caught between a rock and a hard place at the moment.Originally Posted by Razors left peg

He was great in preseason, but it is possible to re aggravate an old injury. Its starting to get worrying now though that its dragging on this long.Does he need another surgery to fix it at the cost of another season out? That would be disastrous
