This is the worst joke I ever put on twitter

Read a stat yesterday that he has either a goal or assist every 70 mins. The defending yesterday might not have been great but the defending was irrelevant for the control and finish on the 1st goal. He has already become 1st choice for Brighton ahead of Welbeck, I know Welbeck started last week but I think that was giving Ferguson a rest based on him starting in a number of previous games.
I think he is still a prospect because we only have a few months of him in 1st team yet, but he is one of the hottest prospects in world football at this stage.
I asked a group of Euro football nuts - about 30 of them - to name some of the worlds foremost teenage strikers. 5 replies, 3 of whom were in the Belgian league and two South Americans (one of which had just turned 20). He's in pretty rare company.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
Of all the top striker prospects in world football right now is he doing it at the highest level? Gavi at Barcelona would be ahead of him obviously but hes probably more a 10. Fati has just turned 20. There are lads here more attuned to world football than I am, but theres no one else that jumps out to me.

Good thread here
He'll get injured against Latvia so
I think just a few minutes off the bench against Latvia would be enough, especially after the short turnaround from the cup game - it will keep the crowd happy and means that him playing against France fully ties him to us (not that he's going anywhere, but it would be a welcome end to a couple of months of unhelpful speculation and "he's eligible for England" tabloid click bait nonsense).

I'd play him for 60 mins. I'd look to play most of the French starting XI against Latvia but I'd start making changes on 55/60 mins to get a look at the potential disrupters like Sykes or Johnstone. I hate how late Kenny leaves his changes. One thing I love about Postecoglou at Celtic is how in every game he makes material changes, usually in midfield, with plenty of time to go.
I know playing key guys is a risk but our squad is too thin not to.
Agree he should start v Latvia. Ideally a lot of the team v. France will do so. I think it's easy to forget how poor the team performed in some fixtures last year, so any chance to get some momentum and flow going within the group is worth it. Plus, there's plenty of recovery time before France.
The only starter against France I wouldn't start against Latvia is Obafemi. He's gotten injured in two of the three squads he's been called into. Ideally I'd like to see Ogbene and Parrott given a half each to see how Ferguson gets on playing next to two different style forwards.
