I dont wanna curb our enthusiasm, but is gonna be very hard match for Ireland. They defeated easily the welsh 3-0, they are gonna play their brand shining yougsters eager to take off the green 35 years old monkey of the 3 lions back.

Yes thats the thing, we are in a transition allright? So the thing is if we are gonna play the way Stephen wants we might be doomed against those youngsters, but if we come up with a plan to get a result there, a draw or a win, we may get a chance, it is up to Kenny. If he takes the game as a warm up, or as a classic match.

The problem is, he plays his way, very open, etc etc, we might be chasing shadows, 4-0, 5-0 and the people in ithe Republic wont tolerate that will ask for his resignation. So we got to go with a different plan for this derby match

Long didn’t take his chance when he got it

We all know that Long hasn't got a great goalscoring record and that won't change now but James Collins shouldn't be picked ahead of him. He's 29 and out of his depth at this level. The argument will be he offers something different but in my opinion, what he offers is not good enough. Looks like Idah will play the central role unless he plays Robinson there, Long coming off the bench would be far preferable than the option Kenny has gone for. This is all in my view as I said and what do I know?

I also think Cullen should be there but apart from that there's no real arguments and it's still a poor looking squad unfortunately and made poorer by McGoldricks decision.
