Very sad news, only 47.
Played for us as well, in Europe too incidentally. Came in as a replacement for David Crawley after relegation, but he obviously came to us at a very bad time for the club.
Sincere condolences to his family. RIP.
Ex Bohs, Sligo, Derry, Monaghan and a few clubs in the Irish League.
Had been ill since early summer.
My memory of him is of a right tough lad who picked up plenty of cards, red and yellow, in his day.

Shocking young age to go. Condolences to his friends & family. RIP
Very sad to hear. Played agaisnt Varteks for us when Crawley went to Shels as part payment for the use of Tolka in the home leg. RiP.

Thats very sad to hear about Robbie Brunton. I would have seen him play against us.May he rest in peace.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
RIP. Played two seasons I think with us and probably was one of the first names on team sheet each week.
Condolences to the Braunton family. I remember him as an uncompromising hard player, especially in the Rovers Bohs battles. Very young age to be taken, its very sad indeed.
I also recall him playing for Dundalk in FD, terrible season around 2003 I think.
Decent player and gave it his all though I recall.
RIP
