Slán leat JFK
A Cork stalwart and volunteering legend
He will be greatly missed in Cork and among the wider LOI fraternity
Very sad news yesterday afternoon with the unexpected passing of John Kennedy. To most, he was the friendliest face at CCFC, the one who never left you down, ran the Family Enclosure, ran buses around the country, sat on our board, volunteered beyond human limits.
I am sure many on here and around the league will have known him.
Our club is devastated with John's sad loss.
Rest easy, JFK.

Its really hard to overstate how special JFK was. It goes beyond his work with the club. The world is a worse place today without him and it's hard to imagine all the outreach programs he ran being maintained to the same standard without him.
He wasn't exactly a young man but his death is completely out of the blue so its that much harder to take.
Rest easy John.
Yeah Im shocked to hear about sad passing of John Kennedy. Wasnt he involved with setting up of the Cork City kids supporters club -cant think of their name? May he rest in peace.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Had the privelege to know John quite well via the Irish Supporter Network. A brilliant guy- his work with the family section is a model for the whole league. Absolutely devastating news, a huge loss.
