Good job TV3, eliminating the risk that with the bank holiday a few brave souls may not be so tired and might stay up to watch it.

    Hmmmm....

Just came back from town with the idea of watching it...

I guess it saved me a few euro & it'll make it easier to get up in the morning!
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Also remember to watch Paul McTiernan's wondergoal against Galway United on it, and also Galway United's funny own goal

and wait till ya see John Martins finish for LTFC away in Waterford. Pure Quality. OK, there was no goalie, but he lobbed it over a crowded penalty area and straight into the net from 35 yards. Controlled finish of the highest order

What a goal by mctiernan. Also derry looked pretty good.

Again the muppets at tv3 got it wrong: they said there was one all non-league tie in the cup at the weekend but there are two.

McTiernans goal was special alright. If that scissor kick went in though it would have been better. Crowes finish was quality. Doyles first goal was a good finish. and what a howler from Dan Connor for Derrys first goal

it was good to see sligo rovers get a bit more of an extended highlight. maybe we should score 4 every week

mctiernans goal was absolute class and hopefully he can continue to break the deadlock with special goals against defensive teams. after the goal, galway had to come out and play and we hammered em. If flannery scored that one it would have been sensational stuff.

Crowe's goal was very good. to control and finish like that is genuine class. Doyle showed brilliant finishing esp for the first. that composure will serve him well in uk. pity he is leaving the country. Mark farrens lob was excellent for derry.

They didn't let Pat say much the other night. It was just Noel and Trevor all night. Who wants to see that??
