Thumbs up Player of Season, Thus Far

Now that we are 1/3 of the way into the season and in a smashing position in the league. Any toughts on the best player so far .This might take away from all the negative vibes that may be floating around....
My top 3 are as follows......

    1) Rob kelliher
    2) Derek Mc Carthy
    3) Finny

I'd go so far as to say that Robbie is the divisions best player so far.

Its harder to pick the top three than I thought it would be.

    1. Barrett
    2. Kelliher
    3. Wolfe

Very hard to leave out Carthy and McGauley has been very good in the small time he's been here. Finny has been excellent - Donellan has looked very limited but has a load of goals.

I have Kelliher in second because he hasn't got as many goals as he should have - which for a striker is the yardstick. He has been brutally unlukcy though at times and his scoring streak is about to begin.

I know what your saying about the goals, but to me he has to be number 1 because of effort & work rate alone.
I've seen him many times with Fairview and he isn't an out and out goalscorer.I think he will still finish with 10 + goals this season ,which won't be a bad return for your first season.

Absolutely. When we got to the playoffs I think Stevo and Carthy had 14 goals each. That is easily within his grasp if he stays fit so I feel he may be moving up in my rating when the goals start flowing.

Finny is the type of player that performs every week,I haven't seen him play below good all year.hasn't been a fault to any goal conceded.
Worth his top 3 for consistancy alone........

I agree with you Daydreamer. I think while Finny's been solid this season he hasn't hit the heights we know he's capable of.
