Celtic confirm that they are down 13 of the first team squad for tonight's game against Hibs but will still field a team to fulfil the fixture. Should be interesting in terms of what team they put out. Possibility of Connell starting if he's not one of the 13, maybe an outside chance that Coffey or Oko-Flex could make the bench.

Neil Warnock not impressed with the Under 23 Football system. He has some good points !

Tyriek Wright signs for League 2 mid table side Walsall on loan. Decent opportunity for him.

Brighton 4-0 down, Ferguson has just come on after the fourth goal.

Bowden on just after him for Tottenham.

Seems a sensible move for all parties. He had done well with the Brighton Under 23s but was never likely to break into the senior team, but is getting his game at MK Dons and has plenty of development potential.

The Under 23 game finished 5-1 to Spurs. Brighton seem to have a weak enough PL2 team this year with players out on loan and with the senior squad, so hopefully Ferguson will get more game time at that level in the next few months (and hopefully the league isn't called off due to Covid).

Pretty remarakable hes straight into their u23 squad and brought on, within weeks of going over. He's still 16.

To be fair, he played against Chelsea's senior team when he was 14. He's physically miles ahead of the average for his age (that advantage will diminish over time so hopefully he uses the next few years to hone his technical game).

What do you think of his longer term prospects Charlie from what you’ve seen, once the others “catch up”? Obviously a tough question, but technically does he look like he has it? I’ve only seen the highlights reel. Reminds me of a young Ibrahimovic. The one reassuring thing to me is that he clearly has pedigree given his roots, augurs well for the future I hope

Ferguson quietly going under the radar, but I think he'll be a first team footballer in England within the next two years. The lad is huge for his age.

Is his birth certificate right ? I seem to recall one or two lads having birth certs that did not tie in with their correct age ?

Oko-Flex got 10 more minutes for Celtic today. They were held by Livingston.

At least Connell and Coffey know where they stand in the pecking order after this week. Connell was an unused sub again and Coffey didn't even make the bench despite all the absentees.

Latest rumour is that Lennon will be replaced shortly by Eddie Howe. A classic case of closing the door after the horse has bolted if there's anything in that. The hiring of Neil Lennon as the manager to deliver the 10 in a row will go down as one of the most bizarre and ill informed choices ever made in Scottish football, alongside the decision not to sack him months back. Hopefully he is never linked to the Ireland job.

Andrew Omobamidele got on for his Championship debut today. Only got about 35 seconds at the end but good going for an 18 year old all the same.

I've only seen him a couple of times but he looks like he has a real chance. Has had a big effect on the game when he's come on from what I saw and had a clear goal taken off him against Pats on the final day of the season.

Will Ferry may get a run out tonight for Southampton in their FA Cup game. Would be progress for him as he hasn't played for the senior Southampton team before as far as I know.
