Decent chance of Ebosele, Obi and Cashin getting game time I’d imagine...

Think Ebosele might still be injured?
The other two, and Watson, should get a run

Ebosele's injury this season was very unfortunate. Was looking close to a breakthrough and would likely have been involved in a game like this.

So if he moved to England before he turned 13, he became eligible for England soon as he turned 18 in October last year. I'm not sure exactly when he left Ireland but he could easily be eligible.
Unless he qualified before he played for Ireland u17s he can't acquire a new nationality.

I don't think two U17 friendlies rules him out of new nationalities would it? Johansson wasn't tied for that reason until he played a competitive U21 game for Luxembourg.

We'll find out soon enough anyway I suppose.

Corrie Ndaba has gone on loan to Ayr. Seemed close to a breakthrough at Ipswich a year or two ago but seems to have stalled there. Scottish Championship is not a great standard but should at least get some game time.

Oh, I thought they were competitive for some reason. In that case, I'm guessing he's not limited yet.

Looking forward to Lincoln-Peterborough this weekend. Potentially four U-23 players involved — Jack Taylor vs Anthony Scully, Sean Roughan and Zachary Elbouzedi — likely won’t see all of them but hopefully!

It seems five of Aston Villas better Under 23s aren't involved, including Wright - possibly they were training with the senior squad this week.

Was surprised by that one. Didn't exactly light up the league with a relegated Shelbourne last season. Decent player though, has potential. Very small though.

Parrott and the returning McNamara starting alongside Alex Pearce for Millwall in the FA Cup against Boreham Wood. Adam McDonnell on the opposition's bench.

Watched the first half of the Millwall game. Against even weaker opposition it is even more apparent why he hasn't got a goal there. He's playing left of the striker in a 3-4-3. One issue is that the left wing back, Scott Malone, doesn't appear to be any good in a lot of scenarios (although he did assist Zohore). He isn't pro-active in going forward and can't get beyond the Boreham Wood pressure to get his head up. Danny McNamara on the far side looks far better than him. Additionally, Millwall are poor midfield and tend to like to get the ball from back to front as fast as possible. The easiest way to do this is pegging balls into the corner- particularly into the left hand corner via diagonal balls from right legged players or Malone. There in the last 10 minutes he had two such balls that he probably should have done better with. The Boreham Wood player came out the better in both occasions and you could hear shouts and roars which I'm sure were intended to stick it to the young prospect from the big club.

They are up 1-0 so hopefully he can stay on for the full game and improve second half. It just seems as though it will require some individual brilliance for him to score.

Was just about to write something similar. You could see as the half went on Parrott started to get a bit more greedy on the ball and try to do too much with it. Coming out of frustration with lack of service to him and lack of decent players around him I think. Theres a guy in midfield that the commentators said was nicknamed the Ginger Pirlo when he was at Shrewsbury, fella not capable of a 5 yard forward pass. Think Shrewsbury fans might need to watch a bit more top class football!

McNamara been one of Millwalls better players, looks very decent.

Ryan Woods is the lad midfield. He looks terrible. I don't know how many backwards or sideways passed he played but instead of making a move and creating an angle, he follows his own pass over and over. It is completely starving Parrott of any decent ball from a midfield player playing with their head up and provides buckets of reasons for them wanting to sign Molumby.

Agree re McNamara. He is one of the few Millwall players that looks comfortably better than their lower league opponents.

All very scathing there I am regarding Millwall and they are up 1-0 etc but I just really didn't like so many aspects of their play.
