Anthony Forde (32), who was a free agent after the end of a short contract with League One Burton Albion, has signed an 18 month deal with National League side Altrincham. A former Ireland U-21 who had a limited career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Forde has made over 400 appearances across the top five divisions in English football. He spent nine seasons in League One and the Championship before winning the National League title with Wrexham in 2023. He was also in the Wrexham squad that won promotion from League Two a year later. (Altrincham FC website)
