Totally agree, I watched the first round of games but I’ve stopped watching other clubs games the last few weeks, very tough to watch when you’ve no emotional investment in the games and there’s no atmosphere. In the pats rovers game tonight Pats won a succession of corners in the first half attacking the new stand and it was genuinely strange/depressing not hearing the roar of encouragement that there would normally be when fans are there.
And the Dundalk Pats results in Oriel elevates again too.
Rumour on Twitter (ok one post) saying Rovers were informed today that they will lose their 3 points v Derry. No reason given...?
Talk is Rovers made 5 subs over 4 occasions which is against the rules. You can have the 5 subs but can still only make substitutions on 3 occasions.
I didn’t see the game but FlashScore seems to back up Rovers making subs on 4 seperate occasions.

I must state that I have no idea how it all works or if there is any credibility in the rumours.
If there is an issue that can't be it , scales watts and Williams all came on together.
Why would the fourth official allow that?
I thought a couple of the subs were at HT which doesn’t count towards the three sub stoppages. I can’t see it being related to the subs and really it just looks like a mischievous rumour. Unless it’s related to player eligibility. Were there any rovers players that played for the first division team aswell? TBH I don’t even know how that works anyway.
Its twitter
Scales and Watts came on at HT and Williams came on after 68 minutes so certainly did not all come on together.
Beyond that as I say just passing on the talk rattling round a few group chats etc I know little of the current substitution rules.
I didn't go through every game but, according to Soccerway, a week earlier, Pat's made 5 subs at 4 different stages (including 1 at half-time) in their game v Derry, so the same as Rovers did. In the UK, it would be fine - not sure if the rules here are the exact same.
Did Derry flag this at the time and maybe found out it's against the rules, so objected after losing the Rovers game?
Can't see anything in it to be honest, but the twitter poster (who has 90 odd followers including Declan Devine!) is very precise about the time (2.14pm today) that Rovers were informed about it!
Pats definitely did against us yeah so seems to be a non starter as stated above it’s Twitter...
Settle out of court for a point apiece imo
Oh fair enough. Its late
Was wondering 😂🤣 I actually did go and watch it there Williams came on alone on 68 mins.
Settlement offer revised. We will take 2 points Rovers can have 1.
Ah go on have all 3 it will make it more exciting
