    Fenlon blasts “unprofessional” administrators


    Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has blasted the powers-that-be in Irish soccer after finding himself under investigation for conducting an interview on the field before Monday evening’s Premier Division top-two clash with Cork City at Tolka Park.

    The Reds boss was suspended for the game, meaning he was prevented from entering the field of play and had to be at least 50 metres from the technical area during the game.

    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Well for the record folks. There is a special area in the new stand at Tolka Park, replete with sponsors logos ideally designed for pre and post match interviews. I am surprised TG4 were not aware of this.
