    daylight

Lads what a big game for us, with all the publicity (no such thing as bad publicity) should get a big crowd of 5000+ (if we dont we might as well forget about our big club status) to put some daylight between us and shels possible 5 points plus improve our goal difference. I know Derry are up there but i can see them slowing up as they reach the finish line as there squad would not have the same strenght in depth. Lads this is our year and finn harps are bad after seeing them in ballybofey with my very own eyes i can honestly say they are worse than Dublin City last season. They cant score or defend, hopefully once we brake the 11 behind rhe ball down the floodgates might open. Lads if ever they was a time i was sure of 3 points it is on Monday.

That is a bad habit to get into .... getting too sure of yourself, we still have to go out and play them and anything can happen.

Its about time we started getting a bit arrogant and smug, look at players like Georgie- he knows how good he is. Confidence doesn't do anyone any harm at all

Yes but it also leads to huge dissapointment if City don't win a game and unrest in the stands along with some booing.

Thats not even so bad .... its the section of fans willing us to lose and willing the club bad luck that are the problem.

    Totally agree with that.
We've got to believe we are good enough to win every game, if we don't have the belief and the confidence then we won't win the league.

I agree on that. I think City should win atleast 4 or 5-0. Finn Harps aren't 2nd bottom for nothing. I hope John O'Flynn and co have their shooting boots on. Shoud be a great crowd at it been a bank hoilday. COME ON CITY!

I'll second that, hopefully Kevin Doyle plays and makes his exit in style, and if not then John O'Flynn marks his return to fitness with a bang, or well any1 can give Cork the points, I dont really care who .

If Harps score first there could be an upset on the cards(am I right in saying that the only game that they took the lead in this season is the game they won v-UCD), with Cork throwing people forward McHugh would be a danger. Nothing personal against Harps I just hope not.

Now where was I, oh yeah.... Come on City!!

4-0 City, no problem. As for 5000 at the game.....no way, there's more chance of King Herod babysitting my kids. I think 3500 max, remember it's not Europe or a final.
Football is life. The rest is mere detail...
