Lads, you lot are talking about raising funds to buy a drum. Is that not akin to building a house with no site
Why not get together next Friday night before, during or after the game and approach the committee and find out exactly what's the problem with the shed. If there's funds needed to get the repear work done then offer to help out with donations or better still offer to give a couple of evenings to do the work yourselves. Don't always be seen to be outside the building site shouting instructions inside to those that are trying to do the job. Get in there and help if you're really interested in progressing the club.
In other words sh1t or get off the pot.

Petmuller, one minute you're highlighting the anti-social chanting at games, the next you're suggesting kinky stuff like this. You can't have it every way.

I'd say the board would love it if we took the asbestos out of the shed ourselves. There definitely wouldn't be any atmosphere problems at the games after that.

There's nothing in your post that hasnt already been suggested to the club. We've met with the club and said all about helping out either by donating to help fix it or putting in a physical effort. They have said they'll get it done themselves. I'm not sure what your problem is. Dont think i'd go away buying a drum as a first priority without considering helping to fix the shed.

Drum my Arse ??? such a comment to make. It's people like you that encourage people, who try to get involved and help, to give up. whats this continous reference to you lot and your chanting ??? are we all not supporters together. Why dont u back up your [words with a bit of involvement and not be undermining people who make a genuine effort.

"In other words sh1t or get off the pot."

As Gary has said this topic has been brought up by the Trust committee with the clubs management committee on a few ocassions now...
Since it was first brought up at meetings we have seen progree on the sheds re openeing mainly on the repair of the faults in te structure, the problem now is not with the asphestos sheeting but an insurance issue in relation to fire damage caused to the support beams when the dressing rooms were burned a while back, so we were told....

Thats all we can know so far so comments like
    PeterMuller stated:
"In other words sh1t or get off the pot"

well we have had regular meetings open to all supporetrs so maybe PeterMuller you will come along in the future and together we can resolve such issues instead of idle talk on the forum...

I think you should get your facts straight before making a post like that. The lads on the trust are hardly sitting on their arses doing nothing. And they have said that they did discuss this with the commitee.
Why don't you get your arse "off the pot" and get involved. All talk and no action.

If the shed is supposly closed due to asbestos in the roof? Why is it then that treacy Aveune side of the shed is still open? I suspect the shed was closed in some part to the committee not likn the verbal abuse it got in the past from that direction.
