    Can Harps Survive?

Well what do we think. Will they stay up?
    I doesn't look likely!
They have only a few decent players, and dont seem to be interested in getting anyone else.Felix is an incapable manager, even the harps fans hate him.
They may also lose Kevin McKugh to Cork.............

Any one who was the league cup game against Harps would see how poor they are I don't think they have a chance of staying up.

Harps do not have enough top players at the moment to survive. The Premier division has changed a lot since they were last there.

Even if u are part-time you need to have a pro attitude.

harps were the best team and champions of the 1st division last year. finn harps doing poorly in the prem really does show the gulf that exists between the two leagues. if you go up, you have to do so with the ability to be able to strenghten the squad. it's very hard to get out of this division we're in, so hopefully we'll get out this year and stay in the prem.

I wonder about Harps, they took the 1st division by storm last year. I forget how many games they went unbeaten. What’s gone wrong this season? I personally don’t think that the difference between the bottom half premier division clubs and the 1st division is that enormous.
What is different is the way the game is played. More football and a lot less hoofing. Harps like us have not played “football” for a few years and it takes time to change this around. I believe that Sean is doing it now, with our lads.
Harps have basically the same team they had last season. Most of them never played to the standard of play now required. They need to bring in a better grade of player, than what they’ve got.
But, the big thing I see is their manager is too long out of the game. Look at UCD and Bray, they are doing ok. Two well seasoned managers, who have been involved in the game of football over a long number of years. I think Felix is not up to scratch on teams, players or tactics. That in my opinion is why Harps are where they are today.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.
