Haven't registered won't register over there! A cesspit of moaning and bitching!
What are peoples opinions on the forum over there ??
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Cork City FC
i think the lads do a great job over there with the downloads city edtion and all the other features but the forum has gone to the dogs you cant put up a resonable post anymore without people threatening each other giving each other abuse a couple of people come in for unnecesary abuse ye all know ye are im not going to mention names
im just fed up with people rubishing our own club at every chance they get
and im glad to be living in dublin tbh and not have to bump into some of the halfwits posting on the forum everyday
save the sheep shaggers bring back beheadings for waherford
Gone to ruin unfortunately.
After the Dolan sacking it was terrible, it settled down briefly while we were doing well, but there are clearly a bunch of people waiting for Rico to fail, the first time we had a couple of bad results all hell broke loose agin.
There are unsubstantiated rumours flying around and people are buying into them.
It's a mess for the Admin/mods too, they're hands are tied to a degreee and how they trawl through all that mess is beyond me. the amount of traffic is sky high and an awful lot of it is rubbish.
The thing is, if we win tonight, the rug will be pull out from underneath the naysayers again, and they'll have to scuttle back into their caves until the next time we draw at home.![]()
Cork City: Making 'Dream Team' seem realistic since 2007.
It's an excellent website overall and an excellent forum too. Unfortunately though, there are a group of people on the forum out of the loop who dismiss everything as a lie without bothering to check it out first. Not everything posted on the forum is true but most of it is and it's not hard to check whether it is or not so I don't see why they need to rubbish other posters for stating what they know. Would they rather be kept in the dark or what? I can't make sense of it at all.
Champions!

No it wasn't.Originally Posted by exile
There are people in both Dublin and Cork (and elsewhere) who are out of the loop.
All any of them have to do is ask questions of the people involved in the club and a lot of them are happy to give you answers. As I said on the official site there, it's time a lot of people realised there are no conspiracies or agendas.
Champions!
So the club staff actually are this loop you speak of ??Originally Posted by Colm

There are a lot of stories on the official site posted with no back up of quotes or evidence. There is also a lot of moaning from "fans" which I don't like. Its disappointing. Main part of the website is excellent though.
The official forum isn't bad for finding out certain things (especially if like me you live outside Cork/Ireland and find it hard to find out what goes on at the best of times), but it does suffer from the occasional bit of keyboard warriordom
Tend to avoid it if City lose
The actual main site itself is one of the better ones I've seen anywhere.
Also lurk on here...

Colm there are at least five Cork City supporters I know of in Stockholm alone. All of us make a minimum of three to four matches a year we all have family and friends in Cork and we all have followed whats being going on through the sites, the programmes sent out to us articles, internet, phone calls watching games on setanta as well as doing or best to keep in touch through the internet. What you write about the Dublin based supporters is patronising. If I lived in Dublin or anywhere in Ireland I'd be far more involved in supporting the club actively and I would object to the kind of attitude you display when you write about them. We are all sick to our back teeth of reading drivel about Lennox and Richardson. If you are lucky enough to see and follow City regularly be grateful for it and what the club has achieved tonight. Top of the table FFS! Going for a Champions League qualifying position. I hope the club and the exiled supporters are showing enough ambition for you and I hope you are happy with tonights victory.Originally Posted by Colm

Exiles are being shot at left, right and centre on the official board for telling people to ignore the rumours, accept the fact RICO is in charge and that Pat will not be back.Originally Posted by Colm
These are the same people you suggest are out of the loop?
Maybe we are just far enough away to keep some perspective?
There are agendas, Colm.Originally Posted by Colm

Certain posters only post stuff on the CCFC forum to spread confusion and cause trouble. That is an agenda, no matter what way you look at it.
The site itself is excellent. The forum is a disgrace and has been for a long time. Maybe there should be a site set up called livinginthepastduringtheintertotocuprun.com with a forum for people to bitch, whine and refuse to accept reality there instead![]()
Now theres a good idea .... and that address is free now aswell !!Originally Posted by Éanna
