Did St Kevin's get a percentage of his transfer from Hearts to Leicester? Or is he too old for them to qualify for it?Originally Posted by Roo69

Was there not something about McPhail or Maybury getting trials at Ibrox or am i nuts?
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"
G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
Yeah, Maybury was a Rangers fan as a kid and had trials at Ibrox. I read somewhere he was set to sign for them but decided against it when he got abuse from some kid's father when he wore his Rangers gear to training in Dublin (not sure if the journo was making it more melodramatic a story than it was).
Don't know about Kerr's and English teams, but he did say in an interview that he followed Rangers in Scotland as a kid. I think it was a bit tongue-in-cheek, it was with regard to the booing issue at Lansdowne.
Whats wrong with supporting Rangers ?
When asked why Irish people support Celtic they reply something like they're a Catholic team.
Well why can't Irish Protestants from Dublin support Rangers ?

Do they really say that?
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

I don't think anyone said there was anything wrong with it (give it time, though, I'm sure one of the Young Irelanders on the forum will pop up!).Originally Posted by stojkovic
People would normally cite the Irish connection moreso than a Catholic one, wouldn't they? I don't support Celtic but that's my experience.
Irish Protestants can support whoever they want as long as they don't threaten the One True Church, the pesky heathens (extreme sarcasm)
ah now lads not this AGAAAAINNNN!
