Yeah a very similar story at my end. I felt absolutely fine for the rest of the day after getting but woke up in the pits. Back to normal again now anyway.

Things to look forward to so, my second Pfizer next week after sailing through the first one.

Second dose yesterday. Lots more aches and pains around 24 hours later, and a bit of what I've seen people call "brain fog" alright, nothing worse than that so far.

Israel has started into a third dose of the vaccine after cases have gone from 0 (literally nil) on 9th June to a near-record amount of 8,700 on 16th August.

They've revised long-term Pfizer efficiency from 94% to 64%, and it appears antibody rates reduce dramatically after about eight months. They've reintroduced restrictions and masks.

    Ho hum...

Didn't sleep at all on Monday night, with a high temperature, pounding headache, and had to take yesterday off work. Had a phone consult with my doctor and he recommended a PCR test for my own peace of mind. Got a spot at 4 yesterday in Dundrum.
Feeling better today, but still wiped out.
Was at a wedding with Mrs T over the weekend, and she got a message from the bride that she tested positive for COVID today.
    Still waiting on my results.

Update on the wedding. Three of the eight people that were sitting at my table have now tested positive, including the woman myself and Mrs T gave a lift to the train station the day after the wedding.
Mrs T has also had a PCR test, and it's come back negative, but I'm still waiting on my results

Hope everyone is doing ok. I’ve had a close scrape recently as I work in private houses , a customer was positive. I went to citywest for a pcr and got the all clear. Thankfully I’m triple injected now. I’m hearing of more people I know that are positive or close contacts this time around. I’m not too nervous and still get out and about with masks & sanitizer etc. I do think we have to learn to live with this thing as it looks set to stick around in the foreseeable future.

"Sorry, I can't go to your wedding because COVID" sounds pretty good to me. Not that I get invited to weddings any more!

Hope your PCR comes back negative tets.

Test results arrived this morning - positive for COVID. ********.
I'm feeling fine today, apart from being a little dehydrated. Monday night and Tuesday were the worst. Yesterday I was ok, apart from the occasional coughing fit, and a headache. Have to isolate for ten days from the test on Tuesday, the 14th, which takes me up to Christmas Eve

If those 36 hours were any indication of what a weakened version of the virus can do to someone, then get ****ing vaccinated, I would not like to face that without it.

Have a wedding on Tuesday, although it's a small one, this is making me nervous. Don't particularly fancy being in isolation for Christmas. I've got my booster too but wife hasn't. I know the venue have said everyone needs a covid cert (or the couple have taken it on themselves to insist on everyone having been vaccinated) so it should at least help limit the chances of picking anything up. I'm in the camp of still being very careful, I can't walk past a hand sanitizer without using it. I do think complacency has a lot to do with recent spread, it amazes me how few people seem to sanitize going in and out of shops etc now compared to the early days.

Hope you're feeling better tets and managed to escape it.

*crossed over posting. Hope you recover well, at least the isolation finishes on Christmas eve!
