Were dotted seats all along the southend stand and probably 50-100 empty seats in the away area. Lot of Harps fans refusing to travel to Derry still, so pleasantly surprised to see a good crowd of Harps fans tonight.

Either way, was good to see a near full house for the derby.
Well, you's were top off the league coming to the Brandywell for the 1st time in history Nigel. 😁

I have an endearing <3 love for it and.... the Cat & Cage pub.
Yep - it has a charm about it and always nice to visit, C+C - another great spot, always think lovely atmosphere in these type of big pubs outside the city centre, on a Friday night.

Tolka presents an even tougher situation for bohs now, will be a not insignificant decrease in capacity when (if) they move there temporarily for Dalyer to be redeveloped.

Surely the new stand isn't unsalvageable though and a quick fix can get it up and going again? How much damage could have been done to it?
Should just demolish the other end imo at the very least it'd make room for food trucks and such and at most they could put a temporary stand there.

I noticed that half of the broken seating has been removed from the terracing behind that goal. Has it been established that this structure is unsafe for standing? It looks very solid.

That was two seasons ago that it was only season ticket holders with bar access included. It cost an extra £40.

Was there a bar in that stand before that Brandywell by any chance?

Est of 450 at Bishopsgate last night. No sign of the big Rovers following we were all told would follow this team, shock.

Dreadful night for it and all the confusion really effected the clubs ability to promote the game. All week there was people on social media asking if the game was going ahead.

Looking forward to a big crowd in Drogheda next week for a proper game of football

No, it's a new bar built at the back of the Mark Farren stand with a great view of the pitch.

Would Tolka be a significant decrease in capacity v Dalymount? Over 3,000 there on Friday, plus the Lego stand should hopefully be back in operation before too long, pushing capacity towards 4k, which must be similar to Dalyer.

That all said, it's a crying shame that Bohs and Shels are turning people away in grounds that would have hosted double or triple their current capacities a 10-15 years ago. Great to see a sell-out and a vocal, engaged Shels fanbase on Friday.

Good crowd in Tallaght on Friday too....we could be looking at a sellout on Friday coming. Dundalk end will certainly sell out, if 1,000+ seats are left empty again like last time Rovers will surely be tight for tickets in the home end.

Not as many as expected NavanBohs. At a guess perhaps 20 I stand corrected but I did speak to a Shamrock Rovers fan at half time looking for a match programme as I do some volunteer work with the club. They werent vocal thats for sure.

About on the mark for us tbh.

900 down from our 1st game against Derry.
Usual boxes ticked for drop in attendance.
    Liverpool on the box.
    School tomorrow.
Not a big travelling support(1st match maybe 250-300 from Derry)
    Cold night.
    Oriels a kip etc

Since Rovers B/II or whatever it is called is effectively an U19/17 team it’s only players parents who attend even home games
