Couldn’t see a thread for this kid, so thought I’d give him a mention as one for the future after scoring tonight for Peterborough to take their winning streak to 6 on the row, with four goals in their last 3, to take them up to second. Will hopefully see him in the championship next year.
Had a feeling this kid might have a bit about him after hearing he’d banged two against the senior team in the closed door friendly. Good grounding coming through the Chelsea academy, happy to go down the divisions to learn his trade with 100+ appearances at Barnet and obviously rated for a conference player to go for £500K, rising to a £1m.
Tall at 6ft 1, an all rounder and only 21, who sounds like he’s making a good impression from the fans, as per the below - let’s hope we’ve got a future Matty Holland / Kinsella on our hands...

I think Crafty Toe Poke has seen him live and thinks he's got something about him too.
Yeah, watch them the odd time, he is doing well. But so did Chris Forrester initially, big transfer rumours etc so its early days. He has improved since arriving though, so lets see how much more is in him.
What is also encouraging is his Wiki page, below.
Subject of a near two million bid according to chairman McAnthony. Championship club. They have just sold Ivan Toney to Brentford and regularly get talent picked so hopefully he's the next one.

Remember watching him in the Toulon Tournament and thinking at the time he was too good for non league. But even allowing for that his rise in the last year has been seriously impressive.
Got off the mark today at home to Fleetwood, hit an equaliser in the 90th minute and his side won it 2-1 late in added time.
A fantastic strike on the half-volley it was too.

Gave away a penalty late on which was the deciding moment v Sunderland. It was a harsh call by the ref.
Scored a cracking goal last night, seems to be a player on the way up.
Yeah, doing well. Hit the fifth goal on Saturday to take them top of L1 on GD and opened the scoring last night in a midweek away win, something that has been a weakness for the club for a while - goal is here about six posts down https://twitter.com/SportingLife
Another winner on Saturday, article on him here:

The Peterborough Telegraph hailed Taylor for “another imperious midfield display”, describing him as “the best player on the park” against Oxford.
Only learnt today that Jack has an elder brother, Harry, who plays as a defender for Barnet.
From thread created for potentially promising youngster to senior call up inside a year. That must be some kind of a foot.ie record
Bring Back Belfast Celtic F.C.
Is he related to the Great English referee also called Jack Taylor from the 60’s and 70’s ?
Scored against Plymouth tonight, his seventh of the season: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/56079559
Massive injury blows for Posh as star midfielder out for five weeks:

And they haven't won without him, one draw & two losses so far. They were clear at the top when he got injured, now hanging on to second and with it the last automatic promotion place. His replacement Hamilton was booked twice in the first half tonight while it was 1-1, they lost 1-3 at home to Hull who now go clear at the top without needing to ask Crowley to warm up.
After his recent hamstring trouble, Jack was back for Peterborough the other day as a substitute in their away victory over Fleetwood.
Peterborough are just a point off leaders Hull now, and with a game in hand. Although Sunderland are in hot pursuit.
It'd be great to see Taylor in the Championship next season. A new test, as his career continues to develop.
Peterborough v Sunderland tomorrow and he's available again after the injury. Sunderland are in crazy form, no loss in thirteen with two draws. It's a game for position, the remaining automatic promotion spot will go to the winner. Its looking like a two from three for the two spots now in L1. So basically the biggest game of the season so far and probably of his career. Let's see if he starts ..
