    SPL Shirt Sponsorship Comparison

    £50k for Dunfirmline shirt sponsorship?

Seems a bit cheap to me as half top eL sides...

    city should sponsor them.

using the "THE EIRCOM LEAGUE IS BETTER THAN THIS" brand.

    imagine the media attention.

I think £50k might be for 'branding' like the echo have on our shirt, I doubt the main shirt sponsor would pay so little.

I was thinking that but current jersey only seems to have one sponsor. Still €75k for name on sleeve of shirt isn't huge multiples of an eL comparison.

But don't the Scottish clubs get more TV exposure, making the sponsorship more valuable.

Again, if we had more TV exposure, the teams could request more in terms of sponsorships...

    Or so I would think.

Yes they get more exposure but at present the typical main shirt sponsors of teams below the Old firm aren't premium level sponsors and therefore wouldn't have the same marketing budget so can get a much cheaper deal .Am surprised by the limited amount of alcohol sponsorship in the SPL, I thought it would be far higher than it is and they tend to shell out bigger bbucks than most.
