Have to agree with you there, Pete. No one can doubt that they put in the time and effort for the club and should be thanked in some way for that....![]()
Does anyone know if theres any plans for some sort of supporters/club tribute or presentation for Skippy, Johnny C & Deccie (if this his last season) at maybe their last league game?
Ok we could talk about their slip ups 'n all but IMO any eL club would have been lucky to have such players play so many games for them.
If there is nothing planned I think there should be.

too true. what ever about how crap this season has been, they have given city a hell of lot of service and time and in some cases far longer than should have been nesscary. they are are cork true and true and deserve some sort of supporters reconigition.
i know pat is calling it a day and JC is practically retired but I am not aware that Deccie has any plans to retire.
i reckon those three lads along with Patsy, dave and dare I say it gunther are probably the core of the CCfc (for better or worse)
john flynn? - awesome!!!!!!
Yes, you can't judge people on one season or one event. Gunther may not be popular now but he has put in many years with the club.
I think Deccie coming out to the shed who stayed behind after we beat rovers 3-0 in last game of the seaosn a few years ago was one of the all time highs at the cross. Maybe that was the last time both team & supporters we as one...?
Both John Caulfield and Pat Morley were honoured last year by the Supporters Club at its end of season awards.
We're open to suggestions for this year.
Although the Club itself rather than just the CCSC should be involved when retirement comes up IMO.
agreed. Something should be done, certainly.Originally posted by Bernie
