Historically Shams have been our biggest rivals but since we got relegated it’s been Harps and now that they’re promoted we don’t really have any. But I’d still consider Shams as out biggest rivals

I would imagine that the split between Shams and Harps probably depends on age.
For example, I'm 27 and I voted Shams as the scum but I left Sligo for London aged 10 (1988) so for me and my family Shams are (and always will be ) Rovers biggest rivals.
My Dad, Uncles and cousins could never ever consider Harps to be on the same level as us - we were raised on a different diet of football and rivalry. There's only ever going to be one club in Ireland that i hate and nigh on 20 years of homelessness is not going to dilute it because it was handed down to me from about 3 generations.

However, clearly times have changed so the new generation of SRFC fans may well hold Harps as Public Enemy No.1
