Yes
No
How many people on this forum would watch Rovers home games from the shed if it was opened tomorrow?
Maybe the Mods can make this a poll?

The Shed should be open and there's no disputing that fact. But why cant we all stand in the terrace beside it until it opens. Surely that would be better than just waiting for the shed to open ? Or even in the spot to the right of The Shed. ok so neither spot is the shed. But isnt doing something better than just sitting scattered in the Western Stand doing nothing. Who is that helping ?Originally Posted by red til dead
I've never really been a 'Shed Head' myself, but if it opened I would go in and try to help the atmosphere. And I dont mind standing out somewhere else in the meantime to help get some kind of atmosphere going.
Co-incidentally the trust are meeting the club this week so I will feed back with answers we get.
Followed up a bit on The Shed today. Work has started on the Shed and the back wall is now fixed. There is work left to do. The supports in the roof need to be changed and a bit of fencing is needed in front of the shed. So it's getting closer to re-opening. A suggestion made on the time scale is 2 weeks or less with any luck.Originally Posted by garykelly
I thought the athmosphere at the Kilkenny game was woeful. I could be wrong, but i'm begining to believe that the players are actually intimidated by the lack of athmosphere at the Showgrounds. (Never thought i'd hear myself say that ! ).
But all you can hear is the crowd groaning over a misplaced pass and then it gets worse with each bad pass that follows and pretty soon the players are reluctant to get on the ball.
But maybe i'm wrong and they actually enjoy the serenity and the lovely vioew that Ben Bulben provides.
So keep the shed closed and let's keep it nice and peaceful at the Showgrounds !
Thanks for the update on the shed Gary.
At least their working on it.
On another note when is the next trust meeting? I want to get involved in helping out. I'm around more often now so should be able help out in anyway i can. I also think its time more of us got involved.
Cheers.
the next trust meeting is tuesday (tommorow) night at 7.30pm in McGlynns. we have a meeting with the club at 8pm. I will confirm this ahead of time. Thanks for your interestOriginally Posted by nephin
Brilliant news Gary, i guess that means that the shed wont be opened for the Dublin game but hopefully it will be opened for the Galway game. Also is there a bus going to the Dundalk game.Originally Posted by garykelly

If anyone is interested in a bus then let me know asap. Dundalk are playing on a Thursday night in Drogheda so not sure what the take up would be like. Let others know too, there's alot going on in the trust so it's hard to get time to organise these things. ideally a couple more people on board would help us out big time.Originally Posted by Da Real Rover
