Yeah, if Oily is so determind to have everything done right, he can show his clubs documentation and information to everyone as an exmaple of how to do things, can't he!Originally Posted by patsh

Yes he can the same way he showed Pat Dolan and Pats the documentation for shels players when Dolan made up lies about how all clubs where at itYeah, if Oily is so determind to have everything done right, he can show his clubs documentation and information to everyone as an exmaple of how to do things, can't he!![]()
Do you seriously think Ollie would push for Rovers to be punished if he was sitting in exactly the same boat??
Im not sure what his game is here but I would like the rules in the league implemented correctly and this yet again doesnt seem like a rule. Where did they come up with 8 points? What rule did they use to do this? We cant let the FAI make stuff up every time we run into trouble. Maybe Rovers deserved more maybe less? but at least have one rule for everyone and not make it up as you go along.

Yeah I'll just dig my head in the sand and pretend nothing happened sure all the Linfield and Shels fans who were there are making it all up, Rovers fans have never tried to hurt anyone ever.

Why are you upset with Ollie when the 400 Club have come out and said the exact same thing ?
I dont know if Ollie is right or wrong in what he is doing but I heard the 400 club would also like to appeal the decision on the basis there is no rule for a points deduction.
Is Ollie not saying the exact same thing?

No Higgins Ollie is the route of all evil and if he said today was monday there would be a 400 page thread of outrage from people basically making up their own meaning of what he's said so they can be angry over it.
Does that include the ticketing system, or lack of it, at Tolka?Originally Posted by higgins

sorry Macy I dont follow you?
What exactly is worng with the countered gates in Tolka that goes against the License ? This has nothing to do with rovers by the way so not sure what you are getting at?Does that include the ticketing system, or lack of it, at Tolka?

It has everything to do with the licence, and you claiming the Shels are sqeaky clean in everything they do. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, but full audits of the operations of every club would prove it (for every club) one way or t'other. It would be fundamentally wrong to pick on just one club in this regard, when it could be just the tip of the iceberg.Originally Posted by higgins
Incidentally, wasn't there many irregularities in the player registrations that season, just none deemed serious enough for points deductions. Hence the deal done with Pats over the league "win" and money?

WRONG!!! shels had no problems with any registered players.... It is typical of what is also happening here? Pat Dolan was caught out and punished by a rule he voted in a few months beforehand i.e. points deduction for unregistered players. Rather then take this as a rule he claims everyone is at it and attacks Ollie for wanting the rulebook used!! Here again you all want to use the line sure they are all at it with no basis for this ?? How do you know all clubs are at it and they have spent 900K+ of grant money on players.Incidentally, wasn't there many irregularities in the player registrations that season, just none deemed serious enough for points deductions. All clubs have to send in accounts as part of the licensing process. Shels done this along with the other 21 EL Clubs. Rovers are the only team to have not submitted the correct accounts.

I said many irregularities of player registrations, didn't mention shels. Your ollie-esque paranoia getting the better of you...
If there's to be investigation into all club licences it should be into every aspect of the licence, including the accounts submitted. If it wasn't for examinership we'd never have known about Rovers - who's to know what the situation is with regard to other clubs accounts. Don't see why anyone would have a problem with that...

Spot on Macy. I've been wondering about that myselfOriginally Posted by Macy

The licensing is a farce, and until the league creates and applies a consistent rule-book we're always going to have controversy, be it over players, accounts, pitch invasions, fans throwing things etc. simply because there's no transparency or consistency within the system
Santry Gardai have confirmed that no Rovers fans were involved in any incident and specifically, the glass incident was a local known to the gardai.Originally Posted by bigmac
