    Cobh Wanderers

    hey i know this is suppose to be about ramblers but i am just curious to know if there is any truth in the rumour that cobh wanderers are in trouble and may about to cease as a football club. i am from carrigtwohill and was home from dublin last week and one of the locals said it to me. anyone able to fill me in.

    I think wanderers as well as other clubs have suffered from the phenomenon that is Nite owls. A player who may do a good job in the MSL thinks 'I can have a game of ball every week, not go training, and have my pints at the weekend' so the Nite owls may be attractive.
    I think that the problems with their new pitch have not helped either, come to think of it that would be a handy training ground for Ramblers!
