Dundalk 3-0 BATE would come close. A smaller but still comprehensive margin against a better side.
This is all uniquely LoI type stuff, either a complete disaster or an incredible achievement on the cards. The biggest game in Faroese footballing history against Dundalk FC...no shortage of motivation there for them. Playing in the national stadium but it will be empty. with a manager who is a youth coach really, in a year we have already drawn an Andoran side. For one that suffers nerves when watching my team this could be the end of me - if we cant qualify against a PT Faroese side.....
I agree. I wouldn't say Dundalk are favourites tonight. But that 6-1 win over Dinamo is very odd. (Russian interference? Trump involvement? Julian Assange?)
Was talking about last night and it was said that basically every chance KÍ got resulted in a goal.
So a bit of a freak result in one way - but against that, they evidently created six half-decent chances, which is still slightly unexpected.
Good luck to Dundalk.
Last time Dundalk got to the group stages Cork city won the league in the following year so I'm clinging to that. It will be the First Division next year but I'm fine with it.
Hey Nesta, you really need to try to relax a little and build some positivity. I get the nerves stuff and catastrophising around the result, but there is a lot of confidence oozing through the squad. The expansive grass pitch at the Aviva will also suits us well and I expect Fillipo will have the team well set up to play to their strengths (I expect to see Sean Murray, Patrick McEleney, Daniel Kelly, Stefan Colivic and Michael Duffy in particular to take the game to KI and avail of the spaces over the course of the match).
The favourites tag does not necessarily rest easy, but I am confident that the League Champions have enough to overcome the inevitable challenges that will present themselves tonight
Dun Dealgan abú
Wonder if it is raining tonight which team will slip up first? Irish soccer teams have not impressed much in the Aviva of recent. I would think lots of rain might favour Kí.
Will hail favour Ki even more?

It'll be chilly, rainy and thundery in Dublin, with hail a possibility. Temperatures are unlikely to get above 12 Celsius, though it will be calm with only light breezes.
I'm not sure the weather holds the Kí to the result.
It was suggested that the Tblisi team were suffering from effects of Covid that night, and others missed playing, I`m not sure. It was a superb result either way.
On the betting, PP have increased Dundalk's odds from a prev 1/3 to 1/2, but to qualify is still very short at 1/4.
KL are 4/1 to win in 90 mins and 13/5 to qualify
I hope PP have got it right on the 1/4 odds!
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Are Gannon and Shields not considered first choice these days?
Also, Gartland was out of favour for a good while?
Shields is suspended.
Gannon came off injured last week. Is he still out?
Giovagnoli on the brink of legend status already. Written off completely in all quarters when he was appointed.
Link to the game anyone.

What time is the Europa League game on? There appears to be a 1st division game on at the moment.
