Monaghan-Kildare clash rescheduled
Next month’s eircom League First Division clash between mid-table pair Monaghan United and Kildare County at Century Homes Park has been brought forward two days to Friday June 3rd.
The game, provisionally scheduled for Sunday afternoon, June 5th, will now kick off at 7.45pm on the previous Friday night.

How on earth arewe supposed to get to Monaghan on a bank holiday Friday
Carrickmacross is now by-passed so if you get onto the M1 the only traffic lights between there and Monaghan are in Castleblaney. Easily do-able in 1hr 30 from the M50 (don't know how long it takes to get to the M50 from Kildare).
When we played you in Kildare earlier in the season thesre were a lot of roadworks on the more direct route.
