Started today alongside Ched Evans; replaced by Cannon with 20 to go.
No joy for either in a 0-0 draw, Preston's eighth 0-0 of the season. Only Cardiff have a worse attack in the league this season
Maybe Cannon did score, just not in the match. I had to permanently close my online betting account because I was being too generous with donations to paddy power so don't follow my tips.

Played well per report. Made a lot of good runs, just not picked out by team mates
Interest in Troy seems to have cooled here on Foot.ie in recent weeks, but some important decisions about him and by him coming up soon. He makes some guarded comments in this interview: https://www.lep.co.uk/sport/football...ts-end-4108984
It looks like he knows he is nowhere near the Spurs' first team squad and would like to stay on at PNE. However, he is effectively on trial over the next few weeks ...and PNE are very interested in Hibs' Kevin Nesbit.
Parrott on the score sheet against Swansea
Nice finish. Should start ahead of Delap in next game now. Hopefully PNE can get back to winning ways
Starts alongside Cannon in the half five kick off which is live on Sky Sports
I'd say we'll see him back in the Championship next season. Whether that will be a loan or a permanent move it's hard to know. But, as long as teams know they're getting a capable, hard working forward, but not a 15 goal a season man, he should be a good pickup for someone.
Pukki moving on from Norwich, might be decent move for him there. They play with a #10 a bit and Idah has played there at times. Parrott in the 10 and Idah as a striker could work pretty well for them
Ryan Lowe wasn't very happy with PNE's performance in their 4-1 defeat to Sheffield Utd "But Parrott disagreed that the players had mentality or mindset issues in the crunch clash at Bramall Lane." (Lancashire Post, 1 May). Lowe made no mention of Parrott in his assessment of PNE's needs for next season: We need another goalscorer, we're relying on young Tom (Cannon). Tom has been fantastic, he's scored eight goals in the Championship, no one would have given him a chance of scoring eight goals. Liam has come on and scored his second goal for us, which I'm pleased about, he could have had more. We're just lacking a little bit of quality in certain areas and we need to find it to make us better." (Sunderland Echo, 4 May).
Where is he playing this season?
Can't imagine he'll get much gametime at Spurs
He's injured. Needs to get fit and try and get a loan by the end of the month.
"Sources".... (? an agent )...have told Pete O'Rourke, Transfers Correspondent at Football Insider, that "Troy Parrott is a loan target for a number of clubs this summer – including two Eredivisie sides, one Bundesliga outfit and one La Liga team". Tottenham signed Argentina Under-20 international Alejo Véliz this summer, on a six-year deal; Parrott has been told he can go on loan.
