Agree and I think there is, similarly, more chance that Ferguson bumped into MacGregor and his cohort in Pacha out of coincidence and the overlapping social circles than anything more nefarious. I know it takes all sorts and maybe it's not so bad, but I often think if more of our players eschewed the party scene (even in the off-season), they'd be playing at a higher level for better teams. James McClean is a great example of someone who works and works and works to get the most out of their abilities. While some lads are out partying over the summer, McClean's Instagram shows him in the boxing ring, in the gym or spending time with his family. McClean was lucky he didn't kill himself in that self inflicted car crash a few months ago. Sounded like he went for a crazy overtaking move in bad weather and was lucky not to crash into others. I'm not 100% sure he'd be the first choice of role model I'd go for.
