    I really don't see the point of Parrott staying on at Millwall beyond this month. Spurs should get him out on a different loan while the window is open.

    As long as he’s getting game time, I doubt Spurs will be that involved in looking for a new place for him. The service is poor, the talent around him mediocre, but Parrott is playing.

    High quality players find a way to make an impact. This adversity is good for him in my opinion and I suspect Spurs will take a similar view.

    I'd like to see him playing for a better team, but he's a teenager playing against experienced players in more meaningful games than sitting round in Spurs U23s so on balance it's not the worst situation to be in. There aren't that many wonderkids or even better than average kids getting a solid run of games in their teens at a decent level. The breakthrough age of players seems to be getting later compared to 20 or 30 years ago. With luck, it'll help his mental and physical development, and we'll see big results a season or two from now.
    Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

    Surely this is the ideal preparation for breaking into the Spurs team?

    You may be right as Mourinho expects his forwards to do a lot in isolation, though I think his track record suggests he'll be gone before Parrott is ready to play for him. The question then becomes whether this is the best situation for his overall development.

    He is playing with a partner today it appears. This might be the code to crack the parrot enigma...or not

    Just subbed off. Another disappointing day at the office, little impact on game. Played centrally off Zohore. At least he’s getting minutes

    I only noticed it was on the match options on BT. Turned on around 50mins until Parrot went off. Millwall are even worse than I imagined. Couldn’t keep possession for two passes. Most of the 10-15 mins I watched was both teams exchanging throw ins. Parrot had one touch, tried a first time pass and lost it cheaply, much like the rest of the team. He really should have had the confidence to take it into him and pick a better pass but looked a bit dejected in general.

    I feel like I say this every week on here, but it's so obvious that this loan isn't working. Whether that's down to Millwall or Parrott the end result is that him continuing there isn't helping either the player or the club.

    A) Call him back and stick him with he 23s;
    B) Call him back, line up another loan move and hope it goes better; or
    C) Let him at Millwall to try and play his way out of this.

    Can anyone tell me that B) is the best option? I just can't agree with that. You're hoping that he fits in at the next club. You're hoping he's trusted with games. And you're hoping that Troy himself actually shows quality and maybe even scores a goal.

    I would let him where he is and tell him he needs to play his way out of this and improve his weaker areas. Staying there and doing that could make his career. I really don't think staying there could break his career.

    Should persevere at Millwall if Rowett decides to keep him

    Now that Millwall are out of the cup I would have concerns about how much football he will actually play for the rest of the season if he stays on there.

    Hard to conclude on the quote in here without context but it definitely sounds like Millwall and Spurs are going to have a chat on Troy.

    Does the loan transfer close Monday too or is there extention on that? I'd imagine if Spurs were going to send him somewhere else that would have to be lined up by now
