Connor likely to sit out Shels clash


Drogheda United goalkeeper Dan Connor is expected to miss out on his side’s big Premier Division clash with leaders and defending champions Shelbourne at United Park on Friday night.

The former Irish under-21 international was replaced through injury at half-time during the Drogs’ draw in Longford last Saturday night.

And he is unlikely to have recovered in time for the visit of the Reds to Boyneside tomorrow.
