Gary Been on Off the Ball yesterday referring to the benefit working with Allardyce will have for O'Shea. Breen referred specifically to his comfort on the ball and his ability to play a "crisp pass" that can "break the lines."
Shane Keegan chimed in to agree with Breen and said he reckons O'Shea should start in March and could stay centre half for us for a long time.
I think in March it's two from Egan, O'Shea and Clark for the centre back spots. Would be a huge risk for Kenny to play Duffy in his current form. Would like O'Shea to start personally but to be fair Clark has been playing well and I don't think Sheffield United's issues this season have had too much to do with Egan.

Duffy is a vocal leader on the pitch so that would probably be lost if he was dropped.
O'Neill rang the changes against Italy in Euro 2016 and it made all the difference.

O'Neill also made big changes against Denmark at home that ended disastrously. But he had the balls to do it.

Duffy has been poor and Egan has been shocking too. If we're going off form then it's Clark and O'Shea.
It'd be massively ballsy to change both your centre backs going straight into a qualifier, but they're likely our best two at the moment.
In fairness, there's a lot of club football to be played before March.
If we were picking a backline for a game this week, you'd be looking at Coleman, Clark, Egan, O'Shea, potentially.
But there's another 7 or 8 games to be played before march qualifiers. Duffy could find form, any of those in form could get injured or just suffer a collapse in form.

Starts right back away to Wolves.
He whipped a throw in into the box there. It was highlighted by the BT commentators. It's a weapon I hadn't previously spotted by him. It looked effortless.
It seems to be something he is working on. He tried one in one of their recent games, I can't remember which one, and he fired it straight up into the air and it landed in the keepers arms. Clearly an additional part of his game he is trying to improve though.
Well they've just gone and scored a goal from a throw in from Dara. Great throw in, headed on and headed again by Ajayi into the net.
He didn't cover himself in glory for Boly's goal for Wolves in the first half so nice to see that goal come from his throw to level it.
Strange game this one. Robinson just won a penalty for West Brom which was duly converted by Pereira.
Hopefully West Brom can stay up this season because Big Sam seems to have faith in Robinson and O'Shea.
It's going to be a big ask for them to stay up but Robinson is impressing this season despite being in a team that is struggling. Didn't ever really seem to fit the setup at Sheffield United but is now really starting to show why he was so highly rated at Preston. No harm either if he can win penalties because we don't look like scoring much otherwise.
Good to see the O'Shea throw in come off there as well.
