The actual request I believe was Block A for Rovers fans in general in which officials/non playing players could also sit. Big difference to having people believe the whole section was requested just for officials.
Believe what you like - it’s wrong. AGS have been very consistent (in derby games) on no away fans in the Jodi - the idea they would even contemplate allowing Shams supporters in it is so ridiculous I’m amazed anyone would suggest it.
Even in the unlikely event Bohs and the FAI agreed it would be ruled out immediately on public order grounds, everyone at shams knows that only too well.

Nope, not in years and any individual wearing shams colors were denied entry even with a ticket. AGS In Phibsborough have been 100% consistent on that for years (mainly around access to Jodi)
Even in the bizarre event Bohs agreed to such a request it just isn’t possible - and isn’t true.
Well if by years you mean two then fair enough, as I sat there two-three seasons ago among other Rovers fans(wearing colours) and non playing players and we had that section to ourselves. That may well have just been a case of Bohs not selling out their allocation but I can assure you it happened.
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.
There was a bit of latitude shown maybe 2/3 years ago when small numbers of Rovers fans paid in to the Jodi and quietly gravitated down to A block. No particular problems. But the stricter control on standing in the aisles in recent years down in F and G? blocks meant that a lot of "singing" fans had to move to A block, so mixing those fans in A was not safe, and would not be safe on Friday, unfortunately.
Shams were never allocated section A . In the past some individuals paid in on the gate and these usually sat in A to keep away from the more “vibrant” Bohs fans.
In last two seasons st least it has been all ticket and no shams in Jodi (unless in hiding) and certainly no tickets sent to shams.
Anyone gullible enough to believe that was going to change for this match is beyond help.

99% sure if it's a draw it's a replay next Tuesday
Definitely a replay Tuesday if its a draw.
Would be great to see a replay in a sold out Tallaght Stadium.
No. My point always was shams didn’t ask because they knew it was impossible. You came on spoofing that shams had requested A block for fans as mitigation for their attempt to deny fans access to those seats. It simply wasn’t true. Shams knew that and knew it wasn’t possible.
They wanted block A sealed off for a few players, it really is that simple.
I don't suppose we can close the FAI cup thread can we?
